Lentin is the author of Mastering ROS for Robotics Programming – 3rd Edition, we got the chance to sit down with him and find out more about his experience of writing with Packt.
Q: What is/are your specialist tech area(s)?
Lentin: Robotics Software Development
Q: How did you become an author for Packt? Tell us about your journey. What was your motivation for writing this book?
Lentin: I started working in Robotics in 2010. I used to give talks and workshops in the field of Robotics, Python, C++ and OpenCV. Packt invited me to write a book after seeing some of my presentations online. The first book was purely an experiment, but after writing the first book, I got really interested in writing the next book, and then series of books in Robotics and ROS.
