Q: How did you become an author for Packt? Tell us about your journey. What was your motivation for writing this book?
Adrian: I delivered a smart energy solution with AWS Amplify for one of my enterprise clients. I realized that it would be great to write a book about how AWS Amplify can help enterprises adopt cloud native technologies in order reduces time to market significantly.
Q: What kind of research did you do, and how long did you spend researching before beginning the book?
Adrian: Research by applying the technology for one of my client
Q: Did you face any challenges during the writing process? How did you overcome them?
Adrian: Focus was the only challenge, I overcame it by dedicating time and energy to finish it off before doing anything else.
Q: What’s your take on the technologies discussed in the book? Where do you see these technologies heading in the future?
Adrian: The future is here, you don’t need a massive team to deliver end to end enterprise solutions anymore.
Q: Why should readers choose this book over others already on the market? How would you differentiate your book from its competition?
Adrian: This one is comprehensive enough to teach you how to build end to end cloud native solution with AWS Amplify for web and mobile apps includes BDD and test automation, which is a combination of a few books at once.
