Konrad: Cloud

Q: How did you become an author for Packt? Tell us about your journey. What was your motivation for writing this book?

Konrad: I believe in continuous learning, writing a book was a way to give back to community.

Q: What kind of research did you do, and how long did you spend researching before beginning the book?

Konrad: I had multiple years of experience in the cloud industry

Q: Did you face any challenges during the writing process? How did you overcome them?

Konrad: Writing a book requires a lot of work and patience. You need to stay calm and keep on going

Q: What’s your take on the technologies discussed in the book? Where do you see these technologies heading in the future?

Konrad: I believe cloud native being the way to go. Portability thanks to open source.

Q: Why should readers choose this book over others already on the market? How would you differentiate your book from its competition?

Konrad: It is currently the only book that covers the entire curriculum of the new Cloud Architect exam.

Konrad: If you have read the first edition of the book you will see how fas the cloud is developing. continuous learning is a key to stay relevant on the job market.

Konad: Always be hungry for technology.
